Comic Relief climbs Kilimanjaro

Comic Relief  are taking a bunch of celebrities up Kilimanjaro to raise funds for projects in the UK, Africa and throughout some of the world\’s poorest countries.  Across the Divide have an open event  leaving for Kilimanjaro in September 2009 and November 2010 so you too can take on this huge challenge and climb Africa\’s hightest peak whilst raising funds for the charity of your choice.

Euro Cities Bike Ride-London-Amsterdam-Brussels 18-22 June 2009 & 17-21 June 2010. Visiting three of Europe’s most vibrant cities this is a tough challenge but what an achievement and experience you will have!

Women’s Leadership Group take on Namibia by Expedition Leader Mike Taylor

At the end of September 32 members of the Prince’s Trust Womens’ Leadership Group embarked upon a week long trip to Namibia, trekking 100km in one of the oldest deserts in the world. This is an extremely harsh environment. Although the night was distinctly cold, and even damp, the days became as hot as 34C and there was no escape from the rays of the sun for several hours at a time.
